LOCAL HERO IS A NEW STYLE AGREEMENT FROM PUB PARTNERS. IT ISN'T RIGHT FOR EVERY PUB - OR EVERY LICENSEE....

Who are we looking for?

You must be PASSIONATE and ENTHUSIASTIC about cask ale - someone with a desire to be part of local community.

You will be required to follow STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES:

• Ale sourcing and stocking policy
• Beer & cider pricing strategy
• Machines policy
• Promotions framework
• Interior and exterior design style
• High level of quality control and auditing.

THE AGREEMENT

A UNIQUE Local Hero Agreement designed to share risk and reward:

• Fully tied agreement
• Ale stocking: 50% OBV, 50% guest ales

THE RETAIL OFFER

BEER - core Greene King ales, guest cask ales and locally-sourced ales from approved microbrewers. Plus cask cider, Greene King craft keg ale and Greene King bottled ales range.

Traditional HOME MADE PUB FOOD with locally-sourced ingredients.

THE SUPPORT

You will benefit from all of Pub Partners' SUPPORT PACKAGES AND BENEFITS, including www.PubPartners.net, training, Licensing advice, purchasing discounts. You will also have available dedicated Local Hero promotions and marketing materials that have been set up to compliment the brand. In addition to normal business reviews, pubs are assessed to ensure that the HIGHEST STANDARDS of QUALITY AND SERVICE are maintained:

• A MONTHLY AUDIT, completed by the BDM to review the offer against the Standard Operating Procedures.
• A quarterly CASK ALE AUDIT will be completed by a Trade Quality Manager.
• Monthly RETAIL EYES AUDIT (mystery shopper).

THE TRAINING

Attendance at all Greene King Pub Partners' mandatory training courses is required, plus an ADVANCED CELLAR MANAGEMENT COURSE as well as dedicated 'on-site' cellar training and advice provided by a Trade Quality Manager.
