Northamptonshire, situated in the south east midlands of England, is known as the County of Squires and Spires.
Today there may be fewer Squires, but the beautiful Spires of Northamptonshire churches remain graceful landmarks across the County.
In spite of industrial development in the north, much of the land is still agricultural and contains rich pastureland and areas of woodland survive from ancient Rockingham Forest, where centuries ago Kings of England hunted fallow deer.
Although far from the sea, you are never far from water in Northamptonshire, there is lots of opportunity for water sports, boating and fishing on the canals, reservoirs and rivers.
Have a look below at the pubs we have available to run in Northamptonshire. There are a number of ways you can run a pub with Greene King Pub Partners, as a lease, tenancy, or on our new pub franchise concept agreement.

The Lilacs is located in the heart of the village of Isham. It is easily accessible and is served by footpaths from the neighbouring town of Burton Latimer, the home of Weetabix. The pub is well supported by people of all ages from the village and surrounding areas. It is a successful community house with teams playing skittles, pool and Sunday league football. Many clubs use the pub as a meeting place including 6 classic car clubs, motorbikes, amateur radio, morris dancing and Kettering Lions. The pub also hosts a twice monthly quiz night and regular musical entertainment. The games room is available for hire for parties, events and meetings. An annual classic car show is held in the Summer and an annual morris dancing event occurs in the winter. Food is presently offered Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 2pm from a small catering kitchen. The busiest trading periods are Friday night and Sunday afternoon. The business can develop and an opportunity exists to increase the food offer and availability, Greene King will invest in the property, undertaking external decoration, car park development and new signage and lighting. A further opportunity exists to invest to reconfigure the interior and develop the trading area.
