The Greene King Pub Partners division is dedicated to the successful running of Greene King’s tenanted and leased pubs. We do this in partnership with tenants, lessees, and entrepreneurs with whom we share the same high standards of excellence. The options of tenancy and leasing agreements provide flexibility in achieving business success, this is enhanced by comprehensive support services for the business as a whole and day to day operations.
We operate over 1,480 tenanted and leased pubs across England and Wales, from traditional country pubs to trendy city centre bars.
Pub Tenancies
Our tenanted model is based on a more hands-on approach to working with our licensees. Greene King Pub Partners tenancy agreements are for three years, with a shared repair liability between the tenant and Greene King. These tenancy agreements offer free of tie for wines, spirits and minerals and other flexible options. They are an excellent fit for first-time licensees and those that don’t wish to take on the extra responsibility of a lease.
Pub Leases
Our leased model offers longer, assignable lease agreements with fully repairing and insuring liability sitting with the lessee. Lease agreements are generally for a minimum of 10 years with options to increase in five year periods to a maximum of 25 years, assignable after three years. These lease agreements tend to attract more entrepreneurial licensees who require more freedom to run the business as they would like.
