This has proved so successful we are improving the programme and bringing in additional experienced and successful people who can offer specialist on the job training. They bring their own unique business acumen to the training package making it more realistic for new and prospective licensees"

We have sought out the very best operators within our business to join the Specialist team. These successful licensees will receive financial funding and additional benefits as part of our Specialist Team package.

Licensees who have not yet taken on their pub can spend up to five days with a Specialist in their pub, more time if they want to, to really get a hands on grip of the pub business. The Specialist is also available to them when they take on their own pub as a mentor in their first months of trading.

New specialist and long term licensee with Greene King, Clive Mansell said, "Focused training is the key to being successful in business and we can all bring our wealth of experience to new licensees to ensure they hit the ground running. This type of training is vital so that licensees can experience a real business in action and use that when taking on their own business".

The Specialist training team is made up of 20 trainers across the country, fitting all trading type of pubs. The programme further enhances Greene King Pub Partner's award winning licensee training programme.
