The Alma is a one bar operation with a restaurant area catering for circa 40 covers. For the drinkers there is darts and pool and the bar is a nice environment creating time to relax, drink and chat - making the pub a place to go for both locals and destination visitors. Copford is a village and civil parish in Essex, 2 miles west of Colchester. The hamlet of Copford Green is found a short distance to the south. Copford is situated about half a mile east of the junction between the A12 and A120 at Marks Tey. The closest rail link is the Great Eastern Main Line, which connects London Liverpool Street to Norwich, and stops at Marks Tey station.
