Pub overview

Fantastic opportunity for new operators to progress and expand an extremely successful business that offers quality food & drinks plus letting accommodation

The Bucks Head is a fine example of a traditional rural village public house located in an idyllic riverside setting. New operators will benefit from a business already established at the heart of the local community with a quality food and drinks offering supported by five en-suite letting rooms. There is adequate car parking and three designated external trading areas

One main bar with circa 55 covers for diners. Toilets are located at both ends of the bar (one set of toilets not currently used to maximise trading covers). There is an extensive commercial kitchen and ground floor cellar located behind the bar area. Externally there are drinking and dining facilities in front of the house as well as two walled gardens either side, one of which is located next to a river. A car park for circa 15-20 cars is located across the road from the house. The business also benefits from 5 en-suite letting rooms which are extremely popular all year round but peak from April through until September

Location

The Bucks Head is located on the A32 between Fareham & Alton, near to the towns of Droxford & Bishops Waltham. Walkers are in touching distance of Old Winchester Hill, the disused Watercress Railway Line and the South Downs Way. Although the pub is located in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, it benefits from excellent road and rail links with all local amenities situated nearby (the local school has one of the best Ofsted ratings in the country).
