Pub situated in a built up housing area of East Kilbride. Bordered by through roads to all areas of this small town and Glasgow city centre (8 miles away). Public transport comprises of the East Kilbride bus station located at the shopping centre and the Railway station situated in the village about a 10min walk away. The largest town in South Lanarkshire, this was the first new town built to house the overflow from Glasgow dwellers following the demolishing of the tenements back in the 1960's. Divided into a number of smaller areas bordered by main through roads, part of the new design was that each of these would be a self contained entity with local shops & primary schools.
