The Essex Skipper understands that its customers want great value and entertainment within a stone’s throw of their homes. There’s a programme of live sports as well as regular events and meal deals to keep people interested and even a ‘tell a friend’ programme that offers free desserts to new customers.

Food is currently provided by the Pub Partners Food & Supplies Service which offers a complete menu, training, crockery and even point of sale support too – it couldn’t be easier to manage. The business has achieved a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating.

If you want to be running a business that understands its customers and works hard to be the centre of local life, this is the right pub for you.

The site has a 1 bar operation. The restaurant area has 50 covers over 2 levels, with the raised area looking out over the garden. At the other side of the pub there is a pool table, darts board and games area with high level seating for drinking and 2 x flat screen TVs to watch sport. The focus of the business is all about value and quality, offering the right food and drink at affordable prices so that customers come back for more. The pub is in excellent condition as it was refurbished in 2016 and has been well-looked after. Outside there is a large decked area with a 6m squared umbrella with heat and light, this area leads to the grassed garden area.

Frinton is a relaxed and peaceful coastal town, although it has some attractions you would associate with the seaside, this business is at the heart of a residential area so your customers would be from the neighbourhood or those using the nearby mini-supermarket. The immediate catchment area has high levels of household ownership and locals are primarily C1, C2, DE socio-economic groups and mostly middle aged, to older (retired) customers.

The Essex Skipper is located in a residential area of Frinton just 1/2 a mile from the beach and all the seaside amenities. The pub is right next door to the 'Triangle Shopping Centre' which boasts 12 different shops including the Co-op Supermarket. The pub enjoys significant footfall from customers to these shops.
