The pub is 5 minutes from Glasgow University, Kelvin Grove art gallery, and the many bars, shops, restaurants and accommodation situated on the main road and side streets. Public transport is plentiful with two subway stations located on the main road along with numerous bus stops. The area is densely populated with both students and many blue collar workers who live in the expensive houses here. The area is a very popular visitors spot and local retail destination.
