Pub overview

A rare opportunity to run a Greene King Pub business, in our home Town, beautiful Bury St Edmunds

The Greyhound is a lovely 16th century pub, on the busy and bustling Eastgate Street. This site is predominantly a wet led site, catering for live sport and themed evening events. The Pub also has two darts teams and a pool team. There is potential to grow food sales, whilst the site has an impressive outside trading area which could be further developed and utilised. The Pubs location means there are passers-by in both vehicles and on foot at all times of day and is a prominent site on the street. Internally, the Pub has a very traditional feel with some lovely original features. The Pub accommodates around sixty food covers internally so building the food business and growing the already busy drink side, will be the centre of your business plan.
We are excited about the future of the Greyhound, all we need is you
