Our heritage, your opportunity
Hudson's Ale House
77 High Street, Trumpington, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB2 9HZ
Pub overview
Super location on the edge of Cambridge, next to recently developed real estate and commercial expansion.
The Hudsons Ale House is a pub in a great location with a huge opportunity to develop both wet and dry sales further. It is an ideal opportunity for an established, experienced operator to create a landmark offer in a fast expanding part of Cambridge.
The pub is a large open plan space with an attractive open fireplace, it has a lounge/dining area with approximately 30 covers. The site currently has a good reputation for home cooked food where all of the produce is locally sourced. It is a well supported business and the time is now right to develop the feel and personality of the site in line with its immediate market and reflect the expansion that has gone on around this premises. The pub currently has a quiz night and runs popular entertainment sessions monthly which we would like to carry on. The right candidates will be looking to re-establish the site with their individual entrepreneurial flair differentiating the food offer and having a passion for cask ale which will open the business up to a wider community and massive footfall at its front doors.
The pub underwent a renovation in 2015 and now has a more modern look including designs like a bespoke map of the local area covering a wall in the pub, booth seating and industrial features.

The pub consists of one bar with two joined trading areas, one for dining which has 3 food covers and one for causal drinking. The site has a good sized kitchen, basement cellar and storeroom. Externally, there is a patio with a smoking shelter that has heaters, a garden and a car park with enough space for 16 cars. This site is also dog friendly.
