The Nelson and Railway, is a well established and popular pub found in the historic town Kimberley. Kimberley is a town lying 6 miles northwest of Nottingham along the A610 and together with the neighbouring villages of Giltbrook and Greasley, it has a population of around 6,500 people. The Nelson & Railway is the closest Pub to the very busy Giltbrook Retail park which attracts 1000's of shoppers from all over the East Midlands, the town grew historically as a centre for coal mining, brewing and hosiery manufacturing. The business has a strong regular customer base who enjoy a traditional community pub, offering a great range of drinks and food menu with the benefit of 11 good quality letting rooms. There is ample internal and external space to build on the community roots and with a focus on rooms, food and community activity for our next landlord to grow and expand this business. Greene King are planning to invest in the site with a full internal refurbishment

Business ready for new operator to take this business to the next level, strong sales and loyal customer base.

The Pub has a real character and charm about it which comes from its lay out with 4 separate areas that will provide a different experience every time you visit. You can sit in the bustling bar or quietly retire to the small enclosed areas. The toilets are found in the corridor behind the bar and to either end of the building on the upper floors you will find the popular 11 letting rooms.
