The pub is well located at the junction of two main arterial routes on the edge of Melling in the metropolitan borough of Sefton, Merseyside. The pub is easily accessed from the Northern Liverpool suburbs of Maghull, Kirkby and Prescot as well as the relatively close conurbations of Ormskirk and St Helens.
