HIGH STREET, SEASIDE LOCATION
The Black Dog is a High Street Pub in the popular Devon coastal Town of Weymouth. This well-established business is a busy wet led site, currently trading at approximately 90/10 in favour of wet sales. The pub is popular with locals, visitors and tourists. The pub is known locally for being a great live music venue and this is a particular emphasis at weekend and bank holidays. The pub also offers a small bar menu. The pub dates back to the 16th century, when it was originally called the Dove and is one of the oldest pubs in the town. The was re-named the Black Dog when the landlord purchased the first black Newfoundland Dog even seen in this part of the country, from one of the new trading ships from that region.

There are ladies and gents toilets on the ground floor, as well as a commercial kitchen. The cellar is located below ground. I am seeking an enthusiastic operator with knowhow and knowledge of how to run a seasonal seaside business. I would consider applications from first time operators for this site. The pub is right in the town centre and just a short walk from the beach, so footfall is always high. If you are looking for your first or next pub business and this suits, then please contact the recruitment team for further information.
