AN ESTABLISHED WET LED BUSINESS, RIGHT IN THE TOWN CENTRE
The Gate Inn is a well-used Pub, with great potential to expand the existing customer base. The site benefits from mostly wet trade and regularly has Sky Sports showing on the TV. As you enter the Pub, you enter a well sized bar area, with seating benches in front of the lovely bay windows. The trade Kitchen is very basic, however a small ‘hand held’ food offer could compliment the wet trade nicely. Externally, the front of the pub is a real sun trap and is popular with drinkers who can watch the world go by. We are planning on investing in the future of this Pub and are keen to work with the right operator to make this a success.
The business is located on the High Street in Kimberly Nottinghamshire. Kimberley is a town lying 6 miles northwest of Nottingham along the A610. The town grew historically as a centre for coal mining, brewing and hosiery manufacturing. Together with the neighbouring villages of Giltbrook and Greasley, it has a population of around 6,500 people. The business has a strong regular customer base who enjoy the traditional offer and the site really comes into its own when the sun shines as the beer terrace to the front is the location of choice for the community. The site benefits from a number of pubs close by which act as a draw to the surrounding area due to the choice being offered

Entering the site from the central front door, there is a bar servery directly in front of you and seating to either side in the bay windows. Towards the right is a door leading to the toilets and access to the lounge area, this also has its own access to the side of the pub. Externally to the front is a large terraced area which is very well used during sunny days, to the rear is a lawned garden with Skittle Alley. I am looking for an excellent operator, who can take this well used wet led business to the next level. The Gate Inn is prominently positioned on Main Street in Kimberley and offers regular live sport. The site is popular with drinkers throughout the week and especially at weekends when it benefits from ‘circuit drinkers’. There are solid foundations in place here for you to build on, so if you are customer focused and looking to run a lively, wet led venue, we are keen to hear from you
