The Golden Farmer represents a great opportunity to progress from pub management to running your own pub business, with our Managed Operator Agreement. You must have pub management experience and be prepared to be an integral part of the local community and able to drive and promote a regular calendar of events and really engage with the locals. You must be able to manage a strong team, promote the pub actively on social media and connect with the community regularly. The pub is located in a heavily populated residential area, on the southern edge of Bracknell. The Golden Farmer is smartly presented with an excellent outdoor trade area and car park. This is a great opportunity to run your own business, whilst Greene King will offer all the support, training and guidance needed to translate your experience into running your own business.

Entry cost of £5,000 is payable on change day. This includes legal fees and start up training costs. An extra £2,000 will be required as working capital, to ensure there is sufficient cash flow in the business before we make our first payment to you. You will be responsible for paying any staff wages including Employers National Insurance, liability insurances to protect the business and the public, TV licence and council tax for private accommodation.
