Find a pub
Attractive destination food led pub and restaurant, ideally situated in extensive grounds within an affluent village location.
The Lord Kitchener, said to be one of the oldest pubs in Oxfordshire, provides a great opening for entrepreneurs wishing to run a fine dining food and drink business. The building is packed full of character, with a warm and modern finish and is situated along the main busy road. The pub is a well-established destination food venue, which draws on passing trade as well as serving the local village. This pub offers great diversity and is a platform for those with vision and flair to take the business in an upward direction whilst being able to put your own stamp on it with the introduction of new ideas and offers. Making the most of its Cotswold location, improving the current food offer, decent garden, alfresco dining and excellent engagement with the local community is needed to be successful here
The Lord Kitchener is on the outskirts of Witney in the vibrant village of Curbridge, with direct routes to Brize Norton. The pub attracts many visitors from the Air Base and surrounding areas, therefore making it a popular 'drive to' destination business and it is set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, close to the Cotswolds and Oxford itself. Situated on the A4095 to Bampton, close to the A40, the pub is an easy place to travel to. The village itself has a great community atmosphere which keeps alive the true spirit of an English country village. The pub is involved with many local clubs, such as the Aunt Sally team; the new tenant will have to become a pillar of the community and be a great host to new and old customers alike

I am ideally seeking an experienced operator with a real passion for excellent service, food and drink. However, I would consider an excellent first time operator if they have the required drive, skill set and desire to succeed. The new operator will develop the business for the local community and drive this destination pub forward, to reach new heights. If you have the skills and determination I am looking for, please contact our recruitment team
