AN ATTRACTIVE DESTINATION PUB
The Plume of Feathers in Crondall is a beautiful country pub, in an attractive village. The pub has been well traded in recent years, but could benefit from fresh ideas and a new lease of life. The pub is full of character and attracts locals, destination diners and those looking for an overnight stay in the 3 en suite letting rooms. The pub currently trades at a split of 50(drink)/40(food)/10(accommodation) and the rooms could be utilised further to drive income. Greene King would be prepared to explore a potential capex scheme to improve and modernise the pub and possibly add further letting rooms, if the right operator is found.
Crondall is a village and large civil parish in Surrey, in a similar location to the Crondall Hundred surveyed in the Domesday Book of 1086. The village is on the gentle slopes of the low western end of the North Downs range, and has the remains of a Roman villa. The pub is situated centrally and is surrounded by residential housing and local amenities.
