TOWN CENTRE SITE, AVAILABLE FOR FIRST TIME IN TWENTY FOUR YEARS
The Welbeck Inn is a well loved pub, in the centre of the market town of Chesterfield. This pub is a real hub of the community and caters for local residents, workers and shoppers alike. The site is of a traditional decor and layout, with plenty of interesting bric-a-brac adorning the walls. The site benefits from an 70/30 split in favour of wet sales. Due to retirement, the Welbeck is now available for a new operator to take reigns and there is a real opportunity to broaden the appeal of the pub to a wider clientele. There seems to be a window of opportunity in Chesterfield right now, as some of the nearby pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants seem to be struggling and have closed, could you take advantage of this?
Chesterfield is a large market town and borough in Derbyshire, twenty four miles north of Derby and eleven miles south of Sheffield at the confluence of the River Rother and River Hipper. It has been traced to a soon-abandoned Roman fort of the 1st century AD. The name of the later Anglo-Saxon village comes from the Old English ceaster (Roman fort) and feld (pasture). Its sizeable street market is held three days a week. The town sits on a coalfield, but little visual evidence of mining remains. Its great landmark is the Church of St Mary and All Saints with a crooked spire. The Welbeck Inn is located right in the town centre, with shops including major high street names close by

I am seeking an enthusiastic operator or couple with basic food experience to breathe a new lease of life into this lovely old pub. The current operators have been here for twenty four years and built a great business, so if you feel you could be as successful here as they have been, please contact the recruitment team for further information.
