Running a pub with Greene King (England & Wales)
As a pub-owning business operating over 500 tied pubs, we are required by law to follow the Pubs Code etc. Regulations 2016 (Pubs Code) introduced through the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015. The Pubs Code regulates the relationship between pub-owning businesses and their tied pub tenants, and sets out practices and procedures that must be followed.

A Pubs Code Adjudicator (PCA) has been introduced to oversee the enforcement of the Pubs Code regulations, and is available to contact in the following ways:

We have prepared a Running a Pub Information Guide which sets out important information you need to know about running a Greene King pub and our ways of working with you. The contents of this document do not form terms of your Agreement and they are not intended to have legal effect. However, it is important that you read and consider the contents of this Guide in-conjunction with the Pubs Code when preparing to enter into an Agreement with us, and when dealing with us after the Agreement has been granted.

Running a pub with Greene King (Scotland)
As a pub-owning business operating pubs in Scotland, we are signatories to the voluntary Scottish Code of Practice, which governs the relationship between us and our Scottish tied pub tenants.
