Greene King Pub Partners supports licensees with Wagestream

Greene King Pub Partners, the leased, tenanted and franchise division of Greene King, has partnered with financial wellbeing platform Wagestream.

The partnership will see Greene King Pub Partners licensees gain access to Wagesteam’s transformative services, which they can then use to support the financial futures of their employees. 

A financial wellbeing platform, Wagestream gives employees access to a set of fair financial services, built around their pay. Through the partnership, the thousands of workers employed by Greene King’s tenants and franchisees will be able to manage their budgeting, choose when to get paid, chat to a money coach, set aside money for a rainy day, save on bills and more. 

Tools which give employees more control, flexibility and visibility over their finances not only alleviate financial worries, but also enhance job satisfaction and overall wellbeing, leading to higher retention rates, faster recruitment and a more motivated workforce.

By collaborating with Wagestream, Greene King Pub Partners hopes  its licensees will be able to elevate the welfare of their employees and in turn nurture and develop the talent in their businesses. 

As an employer itself, Greene King has offered its own 39,000 employees access to the Wagestream platform since 2020, with many finding it particularly useful during lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
