White Hart Fulbourn Reopens following £375,000 refurbishment

Greene King Pub Partners, the leased, tenanted and franchise business of Greene King, has reopened The White Hart in Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire after a £375,000 transformative investment.

The new and improved White Hart will be run by experienced operator Neil Robertson. It is the second pub in the village of Fulbourn that Neil will operate in partnership with Greene King, alongside The Hat and Rabbit, which Greene King invested £115,000 in as part of a garden investment earlier this year.  

The transformative investment in The White Hart will reposition it as a premium gastropub with a focus and pride in local provenance and quality.

The refurbishment includes a brand-new catering kitchen and walk-in fridge, which will enable the pub to deliver its new, high-end food offer.

Alongside this, the pub has enjoyed a full internal and external makeover, adding to the premium experience the pub will delight its guests with, including a revitalised courtyard and garden area to support year-round use of the garden.

A unique feature to the pub will be the biographies and stories of its local suppliers featured throughout the pub, celebrating the pub’s link to its suppliers.

Thanks to this focus on local provenance and quality, The White Hart’s menu will showcase the very best of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk beef, providing cuts from local farmers and suppliers.

Alongside this, it will provide fish and seafood from British waters. Items on the pub’s new look menu include various steak cuts, grilled monkfish, moules marinara, truffle mash, hand-cut triple-cooked chips and a range of vegetarian and vegan options.
