Angel Inn

95 High Street, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 1ND

FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO RUN AN HISTORIC TOWN CENTRE PUB

The Angel is a fabulous, historic coaching inn, right in the centre of Andover. It's central location means, lunchtime trade and evening circuit trade always ensure decent footfall right past the Pub and creative marketing and offers could be your route to capitalising upon this. The Pub was formerly known as the College Inn and was partially burnt down during the great fire of Andover in 1435. King James II enjoyed a meal with George of Denmark and Grand Duke of Ormonde when retreating from William of Orange in 1688. It is Grade II listed and believed to be one of the oldest Pubs in the country. The Pub is proud of its history and there are signs detailing this. Internally the Pub benefits from two main trading areas and give the ability to offer a small, traditional Pub menu.

I am seeking an excellent operator who can bring this historic coaching inn to life. The Pub is bristling with charm and character and benefits from a fantastic central location. If you feel you could build a great business at the Angel, please contact the recruitment team for further information.
