Income explained You will earn a percentage of net sales (paid weekly). In addition, you can earn up to £5,000 bonus per annum based on your audited standards and a share of the profit (paid quarterly) if your business is successful.
Entry cost of £3000 is payable on change day. This includes legal fees and start up training costs. An extra £2,000 will be required as working capital, to ensure there is sufficient cash flow in the business before we make our first payment to you. You will be responsible for paying any staff wages including Employers National Insurance, liability insurances to protect the business and the public, TV licence and council tax for private accommodation.

The Macebearer offers an open and versatile trade space built around a single, well‑situated bar that serves as the heart of the pub. Guests step into a bright, welcoming environment designed for easy flow and sociability, with plenty of comfortable seating and clear sightlines throughout. The layout naturally brings people together, whether they’re stopping in for a casual drink, settling down to watch live sport or enjoying an evening with friends. The pub’s entertainment features—such as TVs for major sporting events, along with popular pub games like pool and darts—create a lively atmosphere and keep customers engaged throughout the week. Outside, a well‑kept and fully enclosed garden provides additional space year‑round, offering both sunny spots and sheltered areas that make it perfect for community gatherings, family visits and larger social occasions. Altogether, the trade space supports a broad mix of activities and offers the flexibility needed for a hands‑on operator to build consistent trade.
