The George Inn, is a traditional English pub, located in the Village of Tideswell. For the more active, the endless walks of the Peak District including easy access to the Monsal Trail and Penne Way (which are on the doorstep) or for the even more extreme, the climbing areas, caving or abseiling, which are all within easy driving distance of Tideswell and the George Inn. As you enter the pub the bar is offset slightly to the right. The left hand side is set up for dining, with rooms straight ahead. The opposite side is designed for more casual drinking and socialising. The courtyard is to the right and then rear with mixed seating, tables, booths and a covered verandah. The is a function room on the first floor.
