A PUB WITH A STUNNING VIEW
The Thorntree Inn in Matlock is a traditional community pub on the outskirts of this famous Peak District Town. The pub trades at 100% wet led and is famous locally for great cask ales, being the hub of the community and of course, its stunning views over the Dales. The demographic is relatively strong with couples, retired people, young families and professionals. It has been with the same operator for over 15 years and is a well established business. It is a small pub that could lend itself to occasional entertainment, such as a one piece acoustic artist or pub quiz but nothing bigger.
Matlock is the county town of Derbyshire. It is in the south-eastern part of the Peak District, with the National Park directly to the west. The spa resort of Matlock Bath is immediately south of the town and also Cromford. The Thorntree Inn lies in a residential area, on the outskirts of the town.

I am looking for an operator or a couple to continue the tradition of the Thorntree Inn being a great community pub. The pub has always been known for welcoming offer built around cask ale in a friendly environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a first time operator or as a lifestyle choice.
