Thorntree Inn
Jackson Road, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3JQ
A PUB WITH A STUNNING VIEW
The Thorntree Inn in Matlock is a traditional community pub on the outskirts of this famous Peak District Town. The pub trades at 100% wet led and is famous locally for great cask ales, being the hub of the community and of course, its stunning views over the Dales. The demographic is relatively strong with couples, retired people, young families and professionals. It has been with the same operator for over 15 years and is a well established business. It is a small pub that could lend itself to occasional entertainment, such as a one piece acoustic artist or pub quiz but nothing bigger.

Upon entry you come into a small corridor where there is a small bar (part of the main bar) for one person. The are rooms to the right and left of this corridor with seating for trade. The bar runs through all three areas. The front of the pub has steps up to it and two terraces either side of the steps for seating and is the ideal spot to appreciate the stunning view.

I am looking for an operator or a couple to continue the tradition of the Thorntree Inn being a great community pub. The pub has always been known for welcoming offer built around cask ale in a friendly environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a first time operator or as a lifestyle choice.
